I'm a "Blogger Buddy" at Fly High

Please visit Maria Grazia's Fly High, where I was interviewed as part of her "My Blogger Buddies" series! I reveal some embarrassing personal information and you can enter a giveaway to win a copy of First Impressions by leaving a comment before April 12th. This is the first time I've ever been interviewed (except for jobs), so it has been very exciting for me. It was also nice to speak about something other than Austen for once. Did I just say that?! Not too nice, I assure you! Anyway, Fly High is one of my very favorite blogs. Maria Grazia's post are amazingly thorough and cover an impressive range of information, from her favorite Richard Armitage to Sylvia Plath, all with a good deal of Austen mixed in! Please do check it out.

Maria Grazia has another delightful blog I only recently discovered:  My Jane Austen Book Club! Check out the video she made for their meeting on Pride & Prejudice, in which she shows Darcy's first proposal as portrayed by each film adaptation, in chronological order.

  1. Alexa, I'm flattered! All those compliments to my blog...Do you want to make me big-headed? I'm glad and honored at introducing to my readers the special mates I've found on line with whom I share so much. And you are one of them, a talented intelligent generous woman anybody dreams to make friends with. I'm so happy I'm going to read your book! Your first one! I hope the first one of a long list! As you said in your introduction to the interview ...The Internet saved our husbands! We can discuss our beloved Austen among us. Let's go on like this!

  2. Happy Easter Maria! Yes, let us go on precisely like this. No need to disrupt what is perfectly pleasurable! Shall we go back and forth inflating each others' heads? Our husbands might live to regret their approval!

It has been extremely kind of my blogger friends to be so enthused about the book. I'm waiting with bated breath for the reactions. I trust when you read it, you will provide me with an honest opinion of your thoughts because that is the kind of lovely lady you are. If my writing is to improve, I need "talented intelligent generous" readers to critique my work! Thank you so much for making me a "Blogger Buddy". It has been delightful.
